Why icon packs are cheaper on Tha Icon Ultimate?

Because icons are loaded from a server and need to be downloaded one at a time. Packs on the website are a single folder with all images inside.

Where are the icons downloaded in my phone?

When you press download in the app to acquire an icon, its downloaded to a folder called “customlaunchericons” on your SD card.

Can’t see the downloaded icons in the phone gallery?

Go to the setting page (top right button while in the app) that allows you to bypass the .noMedia file… simply tick “Show in gallery” and you’ll be set!

Don’t see my credits into “My Account” within the app?

Send me your email address and time of purchase ill see if i can solve this.

App force closes?

Uninstall and re-install the app to see if it fixes your problem? Don’t forget to delete the folder associated with the app before re-installing (That would include the “customlaunchericons” folder)

Icons overwrite themselves?

If you download the same icon in different styles, the last one downloaded overwrite the previous. Don’t want to overwrite your downloaded icons? move them to another folder after download.

Difficulties selecting the icon from the launcher app?

Click ‘root explorer’ and navigate to the folder customlaunchericons then pick the icon from there instead of clicking ‘tha icon ultimate’ on that screen, its a bit longer since you have to download the icons you wanna use first, but its gonna work for sure.

Can multiple themes be save individually?

No, because of the way the theme works, this would cause issues.

Screen stuck on “Step 2″ for minutes and nothings happening?

So far this is only related to the amount of free space on your SD card, when the theme is being made, it takes up more space then when its finished, and because the theme-size changes per build, we cant predict exactly the size, and may stop there. Check the SD card space is this happens.

Change icons assigned to an app that already has an icon being theme’d?

Yes, before building, rename the icons manually to replace an icon, then build again.

Using ‘Tha Icon Ultimate’ to download icons one at a time, is there a better way?

Unless you bought an icon pack from ThaPhlash’s website, there are no way to download icons in ‘ThaIconUltimate‘ any faster.

Using ‘Tha Icon Ultimate’ but there isnt an “iconback” image?

Its in there.. its Called “Blank Back” check it.

Can I mix icons up?

yep, by organizing the folder that stores the icons, you can create different types of setups that automatically theme to your drawer!

An icon I have isn’t themeing in the drawer automatically?

You must email me the name of the app, and the icon you are wanting to use. As soon as possible the theme contents will be updated to meet your requests.

Tha Protocol

This is my no-competitors rules… to advance the theming world, we gat to do this together. I means nobody is left behind!
To make sure the new app help more than just my work, but also the whole community here’s a few guidelines icon designers need to follow to make Tha Icon Changer work with their icon packs.
- From now on, you will need to use this naming structure.
- If your icons are not in my list… you need to wait for me to add it in my packs to make it work (theme automatically).
-Please take note of the very important icon called utilities_blank_back.png used to theme unthemed icons.
- Make sure you have NO capital letters.

How to use icons downloaded from this website?

How your icons are created?

The way these android icons are created is simple, i use a very basic vector of the symbol shape. And then import it all in Photoshop. From there the effects, gradients and shadow are managed. You can grab more advice on this XDA thread.

Do i have to change icons one by one?

Nope! You can use my “Tha Icon Changer” app to take care of this.

Icon packs compatibility?

Icons from this site (.png images) and icons from the app Tha Icon Ultimate, will work with any launcher that allows you to edit the icon!

Do you take freelance jobs?

Yes, i do! Just contact me to discuss the details and we get to it right away!

When do you make updates?

New icons are added to each set a few times a year. Since i insist that all packs have the same amount of icons in them, individual updates of a particular pack won’t happen.

What icons are included in a pack?

All packs have the same amount of icons in them, you can view the icon list here.

Usage for commercial purposes?

Sorry, they are for personal use only, you can’t just resell/redistribute them in your themes or whatever. Usage licenses are available in exchange for a fee, just contact me and we can discuss something.
